Leading the duo is the Predator XB273K which is equipped with a 144Hz IPS panel that provides a viewing angle of 178-degrees. Alongside the support for NVIDIA G-Sync technology, the monitor has also been designed to meet the VESA DisplayHDR 400 requirement and delivers 90% coverage of DCI-P3 color gamut.
The second monitor that Acer has launched today is the Nitro XV273K which is meant for the budget-conscious crowd. Despite that, you are still looking at a VESA DisplayHDR 400 certified monitor that can be overclocked to 144Hz and still covers 90% DCI-P3 color gamut just like Predator XB273K. However, this particular 4K gaming monitor supports AMD FreeSync technology instead of NVIDIA G-Sync. Additionally, it also features Acer’s own Visual Response Boost technology that is also designed to reduce motion blur although it apparently can’t be activated at the same time with FreeSync.
Both monitors will be accompanied by a Display Shield to help gamers attain more focus during their gaming session. In terms of pricing, the Predator XB273K can be obtained for RM 4599 once it arrives in Malaysia this coming December while the Nitro XV273K which will be available in our market in the middle of this month is priced at RM 2999.
