The discovery of the SoC’s Geekbench numbers were first picked up by Benchleaks (@BenchLeaks). Breaking it down, the processor had the model ID “Samsung SM-S906B”, along with eight CPU cores running in a 4+3+1 configuration. Specifically, four of the cores were running at 1.73GHz, three at 2.5GHz, and one core at 2.59GHz.

— Benchleaks (@BenchLeaks) September 13, 2021 As for its performance, the Geekbench 5 scores for the Exynos 2200 SoC were 1073 for its single-core score, and 3389 for the multi-core test. Unfortunately, the benchmark page does not seem to list down any details pertaining to the SoC’s RDNA2 GPU cores. As a quick recap, the Exynos 2200 SoC is set to be one of the first mobile processors to ship out with graphics cores, powered by AMD’s RDNA2 GPU technology. Earlier reports suggest that the Exynos 2200 SoC will house a 6-core configuration. While no actual performance numbers of the core have officially been released, prominent leakster Ice Universe (@UniverseIce) did say that the mobile AMD GPU did score 8134 points in UL’s 3DMark Wild Life test.

As for when Samsung’s Exynos 2200 SoC is expected to be available, the word on the wire is that the Korean tech giant plans on debuting it with its Galaxy devices sometime in early 2022. As always, these are just rumours, so take it with a pinch of salt. (Source: Videocardz, Geekbench)
