Apple claimed that the chip provides up to 40-percent more processing firepower for the tablet alongside two times the graphics capability of the 7th generation iPad. A12 Bionic also marked the arrival of Neural Engine in the iPad line-up which allows for improved augmented reality, photo editing, and Siri experience.
Aside from that, there are very little differences between the 8th gen model and its predecessor. The new iPad still carries a 10.2-inch Retina display, 8MP rear camera, and 1.2MP FaceTime HD camera, alongside support for 1st gen Apple Pencil and Smart Keyboard. Interesting enough, the 8th generation iPad has the same launch price as the 7th generation iPad when it was in Malaysia launched last year. You can obtain the 32GB variant of the 8th generation iPad Wi-Fi for RM 1,449 while the 128GB option goes for RM 1,849. As for the equivalent 4G models, they are priced at RM 1,999 and RM 2,399 respectively.
