According to the report by Bloomberg, the game subscription service will bundle premium games for a flat monthly rate. Freemium games that generate revenue with in-app purchases are not part of the subscription service though.
The reported noted that the new game subscription service will focus on popular titles such as Minecraft, NBA 2K games, and Grand Theft Auto series. In terms of revenue, it will apparently be distributed among the game developers based on the time duration that gamers spent playing those games. Naturally, we advise you to take the information with a grain of salt for the time being.
