If the leaked images by the German publication are to be believed, the new action camera would feature a design that is almost identical to last year’s GoPro Hero 9 Black. Seemingly unchanged are the position and sizes of its main camera and front-facing display, and the same can be said for the microphone grille, button placements and rear LCD screen. But what sets it apart from its predecessor is the branding, which now sports the company’s signature light blue colour.

While it may not be distinctive in terms of appearance, WinFuture says that the GoPro Hero 10 Black’s hardware does feature a significant upgrade over its predecessor. Found inside the action camera is a new GP2 processor and a larger 23MP sensor, which enables for high resolution photo capture, as well as video recordings of up to 5.3K at up to 60 frames per second. For reference, last year’s model could also record 5K footage, but its frame rates are only capped at 30fps. Other than that, also featured is the brand’s latest HyperSmooth 4.0 image stabilisation technology which removes the bumps and shakes that occur while recording. Unfortunately, WinFuture did not detail any information regarding the new GoPro action camera’s battery life or any other onboard features.

There’s no mention of when GoPro might introduce the Hero 10 Black, although it may not be too far away – given the German publication’s track record of product leaks. We’ll definitely keep you posted with the latest information when the time eventually comes. (Source: WinFuture)
