To quickly recap, the Band 5 comes with a 0.95-inch AMOLED 240 x 120 display, and a 100mAh battery. The latter, the company claims, gives the smartband a battery life of 14 days. It also comes with activity tracking for 10 different sports, and a real-time heart monitor.
Unfortunately, it seems that the Band 5 on our shores will not feature its signature oxygen monitor. The feature is removed for all markets outside of China. HONOR Malaysia representatives say this is because of certification issues. Locally, the HONOR Band 5 is priced at RM149. HONOR Malaysia representatives have said that the NFC variant won’t make its way here, unfortunately.
