The HTC U Ear looks pretty much like the Apple AirPods, complete with the stem. One major difference between the HTC and Apple products is that this is coloured black, as opposed to white. The U Ear also looks to have its charging pins at the side of the stem, rather than the bottom.

Its box also looks similar, with the same cuboid shape. But rather than opening vertically with a hatch on top, the box of the HTC U Ear opens more like a traditional box, with the buds themselves lying flat inside. It charges the buds via USB-C, and it looks like a USB-A to USB-C cable will be provided when purchased. When it comes to wireless earbuds, HTC is quite late to the party. It’s also pretty late when it comes to straight up lifting the design off of Apple’s AirPods. But Now that the U Ear buds have been certified in its home country, we’ll have to wait for the company to make an official announcement. (Source: FCCID.io via Android Police)
