This is because the tablet still features the same 10.4-inch IPS display with 2000 x 1200 resolution that also still supports the Huawei M-Pencil stylus. Similarly, the tablet also still comes with a quad-speaker system tuned by Harman Kardon alongside 8MP rear and front cameras as well as 4GB of RAM and a 7250mAh battery.
What is actually different about the new version is its processor which comes in the form of Kirin 820 and brings slightly more performance into the table as compared to the Kirin 810 that was equipped into last year’s model. Additionally, the refreshed version of the MatePad 10.4 also supports Wi-Fi 6 and now has more internal storage space at 128GB. In terms of availability, the tablet will be released in Malaysia on 20 March. However, Huawei will only reveal the pricing during the launch although we don’t expect it to be far off from last year’s model which costs RM 1399.
