Bearing the model number ELS-NX9, several sources have identified this device to be Huawei’s upcoming P40 Pro smartphone. The listing also detailed the device to be equipped with 5G capability, and supports Bluetooth, NFC and reverse wireless charging functions. The Chinese company has been very tight-lipped regarding the P40 Pro’s specifications, but rumours suggests that it will feature a Kirin 990 chipset and a Sony IMX700 “Hexadeca Bayer” sensor on its camera setup. Speaking of which, the setup is expected to feature a 52 MP main camera, 40 MP cine shooter, and a 8 MP telephoto.
Due to concerns of the COVID-19 outbreak, Huawei had cancelled the smartphone’s launch event in Paris on 26 March, and replaced it with global livestream instead on the same date.
