The announcement was made by Reeves and his brand’s co-founder, Gard Hollinger, made during the fourth episode of CD Projekt Red’s (CDPR) Night City Wire series. The motorcycle is known as Method 143, and players will be able to ride a futuristic version of the bike in and around Night City. As for its performance, both Reeves and Hollinger describe the bike as having a racing engine and dual exhaust system. That they say creates this guttural “Rrrrr” sound whenever it revs up. It’s not just the aesthetics and art assets of the Method 143 that CDPR is bringing to the game either. The studio sound team reportedly also spent hours recording every possible sound the motorcycle makes. This includes the sound the tyres makes, the pitch of acceleration, as well as the engine while idle, among other sounds. For that matter, it’s not just the Method 143 that’s getting all the love and attention either. As CDPR explained, its sound team had spent hours upon hours just recording different engine sounds from different vehicles, as well as how they sound when they’re on the move. By the way, this is also on top of the many car designs the design team has had to bring to life in-game. Cyberpunk will launch on 19 November, barring any further delays.
