Like the G8 ThinQ, the G8S ThinQ is loaded with the latest hardware the current market has to offer. To start, the phone’s display is a 6.2-inch Full HD+ FullVision OLED panel with a large notch at the top of it. Underneath the hood, the G8S ThinQ is fitted with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 SoC, 6GB RAM, 128GB of non-expandable storage, and a sizable 3550mAh battery. The G8S ThinQ also houses a triple-lens main camera setup. Comprising a 13MP f/2.4 Super Wide, a 12MP f/1.8 sensor, and a 12MP f/2.6 telephoto lens. At the front, the notch on the display houses an 8MP f/1.9 camera sensor, along with LG’s proprietary Z Camera technology.
Out of the box, the G8S ThinQ weighs 181g, and also supports several physical and software functions, including Google Lens, AI CAM, Air Motion, and Qualcomm’s QuickCharge 3.0 technology. The phone is also water and dust resistant, with an IP68 rating. At the time of writing, LG had yet to specify global availability or pricing for the G8S ThinQ. On that note, it doesn’t look like the phone will officially be heading to our shores either. (Source: LG)
