According to multiple sources, the three colours are officially known as Interstellar Glow, Glacial Green, and Onyx Black. It’s clear that these aren’t your ordinary colours and of the three, the Interstellar Glow seems to be the one that stands out from the crowd. As described by 9to5Google, the colour seems to shift between shades of purple, red and orange, with the latter two colours seemingly covering the bottom half of the device.
The other two colours, fancy as their names are, look static and live up to their namesake. While we wouldn’t say no to the Onyx Black, it’s hard to deny the allure of a brightly coloured phone that shifts between three different tones when viewed from different angles. No official hardware specifications of the OnePlus 8 has been released, but if one were to look at the trend with OnePlus’ devices, it’s wouldn’t be a surprise if the next flagship were to sport a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 SoC, a 120Hz display, and perhaps an IP68 rating.
