The CRG5 is 27-inch curved VA panel, and has a display curvature of 1500R. On top of that, it also comes with a new lightning-fast refresh rate of 240Hz, courtesy of Samsung’s RapidCurve anti-tearing technology. In terms of resolution, the CRG5 has a maximum display resolution of Full HD (1920 x 1080). The monitor is also G-Sync compatible, having been ratified by NVIDIA for meeting the GPU brand’s performance and image quality requirement for G-Sync compatibility. Unfortunately, the CRG5’s display does not seem to feature Samsung’s Quantum Dot technology. Design-wise, the CRG5’s display sports an near edge-to-edge design, and comes with a contrast ratio of 3000: 1. and comes with an angled stand and a tilt between -2 degrees and 15 degrees. Price-wise, the Samsung CRG5 will retail for US$399 (~RM1661) and will be made available from this July onwards. At the time of writing, no local pricing or availability was mentioned.
