To our surprise, Ice Universe didn’t post the information on Twitter like they usually do; instead, the leakster’s post was made via the popular Chinese social media platform, Weibo. The post, which is no longer available, included a very simple diagram of what looks to be the layout of the Exynos 2200. At the top-right of the diagram are six squares, vertically lined up, that supposedly represents the six RDNA2 GPU Compute Units (CPUs) that will handle all matters pertaining to graphics fidelity. Beyond that, there isn’t much else to go on about the post, nor is there any additional details about its performance. That said, there are leaks about the RDNA2-powered SoC; one of the most recent leaks was also posted by Ice Universe, with the AMD GPU scoring 8134 points on UL’s 3DMark Wild Life test. However, it should also be noted that in that benchmark, the CPU portion of that SoC used Cortex-A77 processors, which is quite old when compared to the Cortex-X1 core. Used in the current Exynos 2100 SoC.
As it is with all leaks and rumours, we highly recommend that you take this news with a large grain of salt until an official statement has been made. (Source: Videocardz)
