The phone sports a 6.58-inch 60Hz LCD display, which is a significant downgrade from its Chinese counterpart that is fitted with a 6.64-inch 120HZ AMOLED panel. The screen features a tear-drop cutout for the 16MP selfie camera and it has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor along with the volume rocker on the right side. The device runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 810, which widens the gap between the local version and the Dimensity 930-equipped version that is released in China. It comes in a single configuration with 256GB of storage and 8GB of RAM, though it does support storage expansion via microSD slot. Additionally, it also comes with vivo’s virtual RAM extension feature that enables a boost of up to 4GB. The rear camera module consists of a 50MP main shooter, and a 2MP macro lens that can capture images at just 4cm away. As for connectivity, it has Bluetooth 5.1, dual-band Wi-Fi support, dual-SIM, a 3.5mm audio jack, and 5G, though it unfortunately lacks support for NFC. On the battery side of things, it does have a bigger 5,000mAh battery when compared to the 4,500mAh capacity of its Chinese counterpart, but it trades in 80W fast wired charging for just 18W. vivo claims that the Y77 can last up to 18 hours when streaming YouTube videos.
